Amamehagi (アマメハギ Amamehagi?) is the leader of a gang of scammers.
Appearance[]
Human[]
As a human, Amamehagi appears as a man with noticeably sharp teeth and line patterned hair with a beard split into three sections. His attire is the dresscode of his gang, which is a open hood jacket with a blocky design, dark pants with three lines on the left side, and shoes. He also wears shutter shades and two chained necklaces.
Yokai[]
As a yokai, Amamehagi's head is a large cube that leaves a hollow section for his right eye inside to see out of and has block shape feet.
Personality[]
Amamehagi is violent and abusive towards subordinates who have little to no value. Toward guests who come to his office, Amamehagi puts on a pleasant act by offering refreshments while kindly demanding that they leave their values on their way out. When engaged in battle, Amamehagi is not above using underhanded tactics to win. Rather than continue fighting Maruo after taking damage from him, Amamehagi stated his plan to lie on the floor until he had fully recovered, as he pointed out that a loophole to the ritual duel is that it is not timed. Additionally, Amamehagi is shown to easily panic at unsuspecting situations, having gone into great distress after falling down from Maruo's punch.
Synopsis[]
History[]
At some point, Amamehagi formed his own gang in Kabukicho and forced hard labor on a young Ayashimon named Ten after hearing about his situation with seeking money for a vessel.
Intorduction Arc[]
After failing a job for a gang, Amamehagi ordered Ten to meet with them as a punching bag as a form of an apology. Upon Ten's return, with Maruo and Urara by his side, Amamehagi becomes displeased with the fact Ten came back without a single injury and steps on his head after Ten tries to trick him into thinking that he brought Maruo and Urara in as fools for him to abuse when he was actually planning on using them to defeat the gang and escape his life of forced servitude. After berating him, Amamehagi kindly apologizes for his subordinates behavior and offers them tea, as well as demanding that they leave their values once they make their way out. Instead of taking him up on his offer, Urara challenges Amamehagi to a ritual duel against her kobun Maruo for his office. Amamehagi accepts the challenges, has his men setup the ring, and releases his true form. Amamehagi gains the upperhand in the fight as he continues to land blow after blow against Maruo while dodging his punches. However, after hearing Ten cheer for Maruo, Amamehagi becomes distracted and gives Maruo an opening to land a punch towards his head.
Amamehagi panics after falling down to the floor and hears Maruo wanting to continue on with the fight. However, Amamehagi tells him that he plans to stay on the floor until he fully recovers since the ritual duel isn't timed. This causes Maruo to become angry and throw a punch near his head, demanding that he either give up the match or continue fighting him as to not waste his time. As a result of the punch, Amamehagi and Maruo fall as the floor collapses below them. While Maruo survives the fall, Amamehagi ultimately dies after being crushed by a large piece of rubble, resulting in Maruo's victory.
