You'll Make a Pretty Piece (こりやいい
Summary[]
After moving into an abandoned bar, Urara and Maruo learn of the Enma Syndicate trying to hunt them down on the streets. Before they could lay low, Doppo appears before them and grabs Urara by the arm to take her in, which prompts Maruo to attack the chairman for touching her. However, Doppo intercepts Maruo's attack and prepares to fight him, much to Maruo's excitement.
Plot Details[]
Ten returns back with food and drinks for Urara and asks to see if she was pleased with the abandoned bar the Urara Family is currently occupying, to which she answers no since it did not make her feel comfortable but says that it will be useful as a hide spotting. She also gives her thanks to Amamehagi's former gang members for helping with the move but scolds them about the left-over dust they forget to clean, which oddly makes one of them feel satisfied by Ten's observation. Ten then becomes shocked to learn from Urara that Maruo has been sitting on a couch reading manga for over 12 hours and sees him smiling after reading an exciting part of the book. After finishing, Maruo expresses his excitement and requests money from Urara to go out to buy the next volume. One of the gang members recommends to Maruo to not go outside since their were suspicious men in suits wandering around the streets. Urara goes to take a look on the roof with Maruo and the others and see that the men in suits are wearing the Enma Syndicate crest, which tells her that the Onmyo Bureau agent informed the yakuza group about her and Maruo. Knowing this, Urara realizes that Hashihime is in danger and causes Maruo to notice that she was feeling uneasy. Depsite the activity, Ten tries to reassure Urara and Maruo that there would be no possibility of the Enma Syndicate doing anything out of the ordinary since it may cause a war between the other major yakuza gangs.
Meanwhile, Mizuha harms an Ayashimon to see if he knows Urara and Maruo from the photos she's holding. After being told that he doesn't, Mizuha destroys the Ayashimon's arms and legs for wasting her time and has her subordinates capture him after deciding to "play" with him in her lab for later. The Ayashimon threatens Mizuha with the thought of a war between his backer if she harms him any further but hears her reply back, stating to him that it would not matter since Kabukicho is already at war ever since Kio's death and that the hierarchy between the four gangs is insignificant. Along with Mizuha, the other members of the syndicate find themselves having no leads to Urara and Maruo as well and dismember the Ayashimon they interrogated.
Ten suggests to Urara and Maruo that they should lay low until the situation dies down, to which Urara agrees and prepares to walk back inside. However, she looks down in shock to see Doppo walking up the stairs with his men. Doppo sees that he has found the people he has been looking for and credits Ungaikyo for being the one to accurately find them. Urara pretends to not know who Doppo is by asking who he was, only for the chairman to tell her that he sees through her ignorance. After getting a good look at Urara in person, Doppo states to her that he she will make a "pretty piece" and introduces himself. Ten reacts in fear after hearing who he was and kneels down to apologize for anything he might have done to upset him. After telling Doppo that she and the others were only here to view the premises, Urara is told by Doppo to look down towards his car and becomes shocked to find Hashihime inside, which gave Doppo enough evidence to know that the two are connected after sensing the fear coming from her.
Doppo then orders his men to bring in the other cars and orders his men to capture everyone on the roof. After grabbing Urara by the arm, Doppo found that there was something odd about the way she smelled and looks to see Maruo cracking his shoulder. Having touched her, Maruo throws a punch at Doppo's face but sees him holding onto his fist after managing to dodge it, which he found odd since he could have sworn that he landed a hit. Noticing how unnaturally strong he is for a human, Doppo figures out that the roles Maruo and Urara play. Maruo then sees Doppo setting his hand on fire and panics as he tries to put it out the heat but notices that the fire is rather cold than hot. Seeing as how the human is unnecessary, Doppo tells Maruo that he will kill him on the spot, which excites Maruo as he was hoping to engage in another fight.
